About TPL

TPL is an Oregon Corporation founded in 1992 by Pat and George McNeal. We successfully operated in Portland until 2000 when we decided to relocate to Klamath Falls. When the industry changes, we change!

TPL's laminating facility in Klamath Falls is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

What is the Forest Stewardship Council?

The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is an international network created to promote responsible management of the world's forests. The FSC logo identifies products which contain wood from well-managed forests certified in accordance with the rules of the FSC, which ensure that people, wildlife and the environment benefit from the forestry practices. FSC certification is globally recognized as being the most credible and strongest system for ensuring well-managed forests.


Why does TPL use the FSC label?

We believe that laminating FSC certified wood products at our FSC certified facility is an effective way to demonstrate our commitment to sustainability. As customers and shareholders become increasingly concerned about where and how products are made, they are demanding that companies use products that come from sustainable and responsible sources. Laminating FSC certified wood products saves forests, protects wildlife habitats, keeps water clean and protects the rights of local communities.

As members of The Natural Step, TPL emphasizes a reduction of material waste at every step of our production process. Reduction of emissions and elimination of pollutants are major concerns of our company. Just one more way TPL is looking out for the environment.


Strategically located

TPL's Klamath Falls facility is in a strategically desirable location for receiving product and shipping throughout North America. Here we are at the source of soft textured, light colored Ponderosa Pine fiber that converts into high quality particleboard less than 5 miles from our front door.

We operate a Wemhoner Thermo Fused Melamine Line where we laminate Melamine and Veneer/Melamine Combination Panels.
